Islam Reality Check
Posted by Mary Calhoun Rice on 26th Oct 2016
I have copies and have read the Quran and Hadith more than once. I have asked questions of a few of my Muslim friends in order to clarify my understanding. As a result, I have wondered if I was the only person voicing serious concerns about the critical differences between what Muslims believe and practice versus what I believe and practice as a faithful Catholic Christian. In my humble opinion, these differences are like matter vs. anti-matter. I am told that I do not have an "open mind" and that I am a bigot. Fortunately for me, Steve Ray does a great job of addressing each one of my concerns. How these differences can be overcome in the future, if ever, has yet to be determined. However, I firmly believe that they CANNOT be reconciled through political secular intervention.
